“One Guess” is the last video for the Mask album. At this point, it’s always a tough spot to start ending a project and move on to the next. But, for months I have been working on what’s next. Starting June, there will be new music coming out each month and that first song is Mask related to keep the momentum of this project going.
“One Guess” is a song about making it through problems. Taking the literary standard metaphor of snow as an end or death of something, I wanted to have that idea mean a sense of renewal. With the chorus, I wanted to set a scene of someone buried by what has befell them and they will radiate through that to the next step. I thought this was a fitting song as the last video in light of the aforementioned thoughts of “what’s next.”
