When you play a lot of gigs, it’s hard to get new songs in the mix. For me, I play a wide range of genres have my songs organized in a few ways depending on what’s going on–dance, listen, decades. I have well over a dozen “mew songs” but find that I get in the zone and play what I know works well. Sometimes at gigs, I’ll get inspired for various reasons and just try out a song. With this show, I was at a campground lodge and there were a few dozen people enjoying themselves but they were just down for whatever I played. I thought of this song and gave it a go. I had not practiced this song in a couple months so this is a raw, first take. On my Patreon, I post two videos a week of live performance footage like this.
