In June, I met up with songwriter friend James Tristan Redding. James leads the Song-A-Week group of which I’ve played along with the the couple years. James invited me to Nashville to play a show with him at Nashville’s best dive bar Fran’s Eastside Tavern.
Fran’s Eastside aptly meet its description and has more charm than I could ever hope to describe. There I found out why no one parks in a certain spot outside (hint: scrape!), got a soda from the fridge, and I met Fran and some regulars. James played a set then I played a set. James’ was a gentleman and a scholar enough to take some video. The best thanks I could ever give him for this is to suggest that you, you awesome reader you, check out his music and consider jumping in the song group.
For those checking out my site wondering how I sound, here’s a good example. For most songs, I produce drums and use those recordings and loop live. Everything has the stamp of “Kyle Sound” on it.
